B.E.S.T. Robotics (Boosting Engineering Science and Technology) hosts an annual competition where high schools and middle schools compete to perform an engineering task.  Each team is given an identical kit of materials with which to build a robot to perform yearly tasks.

This year's task centers around rescue and response.  See trailer at

The annual competition has two primary parts.  The first is the construction of the robot and it's performance on game day.  The second has a higher point designation as it incorporates processes similar to real world corporations.  An engineering notebook must be compiled, a company formed and divisions judged for marketing, sportsmanship, and the engineering design.

Game Day this year is October 28th.  The competition for our hub (Jubilee BEST - the largest hub in the U.S.) will be held at the University of South Alabama's Mitchell Center from 9 am until 5 pm.  Over 40 teams will be competing.  Please plan to join us and support the "BEST Spartans".
